Our principal aim at the Alfred Heath Centre is to provide opportunities for disabled people to express themselves, to achieve their full creative potential, and to integrate and participate to the maximum in society at large. Our regular art and self-expression workshops include painting, embrodery, pottery, music, drama and graphic design. We see this as a two-way process, and we encourage our workers and volunteers to value this interaction as part of their own personal development, through learning about how we can understand ourselves better by facing our limitations and overcoming them.
